students who are familiar with:

Similar to students who have finished their Bsc. degree in engineering


Having followed the course the student should be able to:

bulletuse the tranfer function and the state space approach to modeling
bulletset up mathematical models for typical process, thermodynamical, mechanical and elctromechanical dynamic engineering systems
bulletselect and validate response analyses obtained from dynamic simulations in Matlab and Simulink
bulletuse Matlab and Simulink in solving common engineering tasks
bulletapply and tune PID-controllers




This course is handled as 100% distance learning.and is made up of the following parts:

bulletControl theory 

Each of these consisting of lessons with theory and exercises based on well known common engineering problems solved in Matlab and Simulink

PTAVA1 is approved if all the assignments and the final oral examination is approved.
